About Darryl
Darryl Shorter is an accomplished attorney and litigator with a diverse practice focused on commercial litigation, consumer protection, real estate litigation, criminal defense, intellectual property, and guardianship matters. Known for a strategic and results-oriented approach, Shorter has successfully represented individuals, businesses, and organizations in complex disputes in both state and federal courts. His litigation experience includes handling high-stakes commercial and contractual disputes, defending clients facing serious criminal allegations, prosecuting and defending consumer protection claims, and resolving sophisticated real estate and property-related matters. He is also experienced in guardianship proceedings, guiding families and clients through sensitive legal matters with professionalism and care.
Shorter earned his Juris Doctor from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he developed a strong foundation in litigation, advocacy, and intellectual property law. Prior to law school, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, where he built the analytical and communication skills that continue to shape his legal practice today.
In addition to his legal practice, Shorter is a certified NFL agent and NIL agent, advising and representing professional football players and college athletes in contract negotiations, career development, endorsement opportunities, and business matters. His combined experience in litigation, advocacy, and athlete representation provides clients with a unique perspective grounded in negotiation, strategic planning, and high-level problem solving.
